This transformative exploration into the sacred art of doula care is the Celebration of Birth Doula Academy’s most comprehensive training for those who wish to dive deeper into all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum support over an extended period, with mentoring and guidance to ensure you have a solid foundation to confidently share your doula skills.
– 9-month comprehensive Doula Training for embarking on, or expanding, your birth & postpartum doula journey.
– Gain knowledge, skills & intimate understanding of the physiology and hormonal blueprint of birthing and postpartum.
– Journey through the wisdom of the chakras for birth & beyond.
– Learn visionary and practical tools to establish & grow your doula business.
– Experience hands-on doula skills, spiritual healing tools, birth art and a blend of modern & ancient birth teachings.
This in-depth Doula Training includes –
- 3 x FACE-TO-FACE weekend workshops (held in Brunswick Heads, near Byron Bay in March, July, November)
- 6 x LIVE online monthly workshops, including guest teachers, recommended reading, course work & mentoring for birth support case studies to complete your certification.
- 18 months x Mentoring with an experienced doula mentor as you complete the practical aspects of training by attending 3 births as a student doula.
Whilst no previous birth or doula experience is necessary, this course will enhance your skills if you are already working or studying in the field of pregnancy, birth and/or postpartum and wish to add doula care as you grow your business.
Welcoming ‘Maiden Doulas’ – being a mother yourself is not necessary to join this training which gives you the knowledge and skills to practice as a doula, or to learn and grow for your own journey of conception, birth and becoming a parent.

REFRESHER OPTION
We are opening the in-person weekend modules of our 9-month Expansion Doula training to doulas who would like to expand their skills in a small group learning environment in doula community which honours birth as a sacred, transformative rite of passage, supports greater connection with your soul path and the unique gifts you offer supporting families.
This ‘Refresher’ option is popular with doulas who may have previously done online training, or taken a break from doula work, such as becoming a mother yourself and would like to sit in circle and learn alongside other doulas (babes in arms are welcome to join us).
